The Lone Star Duals Crew!
| The 2008 edition of the Lone Star Duals is our
11th annual
tournament. From a somewhat humble beginning, the Duals have grown into
what some consider one of the premier sporting events for college and high school
wrestling teams in the United States. Participants and fans enjoy two days
of some of the best competition in the nation. The credit for such a smooth running tournament goes to the team of fantastic volunteers we have working with us. You will see them wearing the special shirts during the tournament. Most are parents or relatives of area high school wrestlers. Others are volunteers from the area who are interested in seeing the sport develop in Texas and especially in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Many work literally throughout the whole year in order to insure that participants and fans enjoy a well planned, well executed tournament. Hosting teams from around the nation presents many challenges. But we have a great crew. Our wholehearted thanks to them for all they do!
