JV Tournament Information and Registration Form

 

  1. The JV event will be hosted by SGP during Friday Jan 5th and Saturday Jan 6th. It will be held  in the 9th grade center gym (attached to the high school parking lot). Final details will be posted tomorrow, but here is the basic information (times subject to final approval by the principal.

  1. Scheduled Times for competition:

Friday:

1PM: weight verification

3:30 PM: Competition begins

                   8 PM: Competition ends (to be continued Sat at 9AM)

 

            Saturday:

                        9AM: Competition begins and runs until finish

 

  1. 8 man brackets, top 3 medal in each bracket

 

  1. Fee: $10 per wrestler (must be paid prior to competing)

  1. Email registration to Lee Shqeir (leeshqeir@sbcglobal.net) by Jan 3rd at 5PM. Just copy this registration page and fill it out, then email it to Lee.

 

  1. Coaches need to weigh-in the wrestlers and send actual weights by Jan 3rd at 5PM.

 

 

  1. Entry fee for spectators: Either a wristband from the Lone Star Duals or a daily $5 entry to the JV event. If a fan buys entry just to the JV event, that amount will be deducted from the cost of a wristband for the Lone Star Duals. Cost of a wristband is $20 adult, $15 HS, $10 JR High and younger and may be purchased at the door or online. (in other wards, a JR High entry to the duals would be free if they had bought both days entry at the JV event and an adult would owe $10).
